Long-time friends, we decided several years ago to bring some fun and new energy to our respective art careers by painting together once a week. We've been found every Wednesday since then painting, talking about art and life, and laughing a lot...while exploring color and compositions together. In 2013, we're presenting a new body of work: Intimate Views of Plant Life: Two Visions. This project took root last spring as our gardens were coming to life and we discovered a treasure trove of photographs I'd taken over the years of plants and flowers. Ten months later, we have over forty paintings, all 8.5 x 8.5", acrylic on paper. These paintings can be viewed on our respective websites. For mine, see my gallery titled: "In Full Bloom 2013".
